FAQ for DSC customers:

  • Q: My keypad is beeping, how do I silence the trouble alert?
  • A: Press the # key to silence the trouble alert. This is commonly caused by your system detecting a low battery or other maintenance issue. You typically can continue to use your system normally. Call my office for a service appointment when you have the opportunity.
  • Q: How do I change the time on my keypad?
  • A: *6 (Master Code) 1 HH:MM MM/DD/YY #. Be sure you enter the time in 24-hour format. ie: 1:30PM would be 13:30.
  • Q: How do I bypass a zone?
  • A: *1 (2-digit zone #) #. ie: To bypass zone 4, press *1 04 #.

  • A: Enter your 4-digit code and press 1 or Off to silence the trouble alert. This is commonly caused by your system detecting a low battery or other maintenance issue. You typically can continue to use your system normally. Call my office for a service appointment when you have the opportunity.
  • Q: How do I bypass a zone?
  • A: Enter your 4-digit code, press 6, then 2-digit zone #. ie: To bypass zone 4, press (code) 6 04.
